A Bit of My Horror History and A Blog Overview

Hey Y’all!

Welcome to Tiffeny’s Michael Jackson Tales of Terror Blog!
I like to believe I’m somewhat known in the MJ Fanbase as the prolific writer of dozens of fan fictions and eroticas featuring the King of Entertainment, Mr. Michael Jackson.
I have been writing, nonstop since I was nine years old, mostly about Michael and various other topics.
But what few people know, is that when I first decided I was going to become a writer--having read every single book in the school library except for one--I wanted to be a horror writer.
As a child, I was an avid reader, going through several books in a week. And I enjoyed the writings, in particular, of author RL Stine. I was as crazy about Mr. Stine, as I was about Michael Jackson. In my time, I’ve read through several of his series: Goosebumps, (and devotedly watched the TV based on it) Fear Street, Ghosts of Fear Street, Give Yourself Goosebumps and The Nightmare Room.
My poor mother couldn’t go into K-Mart without seeing one of his books stuck into the basket and my face with eyes big, begging for it.
I also read his book Superstitious when I was in high school--his first “adult” story.
(Just for the record, he was the best-selling novelist until that Harry Potter chick came along.)
I also was heavily into Alvin Schwartz, whom wrote the Scary Stories series. The only book in the school library I wouldn’t dare touch was the last in the series, Scary Stories 3: More Tales to Chill Your Bones.

YES, these are children’s books! Scary Stories 3 was so frightening to me, I never got past the fourth page as a child and I was well into my twenties before I had the nerve to read all of it. I don’t even know if they’re allowed in schools anymore. LOL! One story about some coins haunted me for years.
But I digress.
As I aged, I took to Stephen King as a novelist I enjoyed reading, and really, I notice I do seem to like the best in anything. I like the best writers and love Michael Jackson, the best artist period.
Before I even knew what fan fiction was, I was writing about Michael, simply because of my interest in him
As I became aware of the fiction movement, I wanted to be a part of it. And so, I wrote.
Writing is my hobby and I plan to be published one day.
For years, when I saw, as a child, I didn’t really have the capacity to write horror stories, just dropped it and moved on and eventually grew into writing dramas and sagas and erotic love stories as I mostly do now. And I kind of moved away from wanting to be a horror writer.
(I am working on a novel I aim  to have published now, but it’s a dramatic piece.)
I just noticed through my other stories, readers kept remarking I was so great at building suspense. And the more I heard suspense, the more I wondered, well…should I try writing horror again, with Michael Jackson as the central character.
I found, in my twenties, I had a knack for it and loved to write horror. I wrote for several fan forums before censoring pissed me off and I parted from them.
Horror offered me a freedom my dramatic and erotic pieces didn't allow--use of Michael Jackson as a child.
Really, Michael’s entire fifty year lifespan is open to me within horror, because they are rarely explicit sexual elements. (He does get rather flirty in a few…)
Rather than just Michael ages eighteen and up for erotic purposes.
And here, on my blog, will be the place to put my stories up for the reading, a collection of spine-tingling tales to excite and frighten the MJ fans.
I have written quite a lot of stories, and they will be posted over time.
